Short Description:

Polishing your English and becoming a better teacher at the same time? It is not a purely Methodology course — teachers learn Communicative Methodology in action. Discussing discovered issues, practising language and teaching skills is part of workshops.

At the end of each lesson, Trainer gives open feedback on errors picked up during each lesson.

  Trainer

  Joyce Clark (Scotland). An experienced ESL teacher. After some years of working at school, Joyce went to university again to study Russian. In three years she moved to Russia where she continued her studies and obtained TEFL certificate.

Since 1998 has been working as an ESL teacher in Russia. First, in a private school in Moscow. Then, as an In-Company teacher, a senior teacher, Director of Studies, and Principal. Joyce is also a specialist in preparing students for Cambridge and IELTS examinations

For the last ten years, she mainly worked as a teacher trainer, writing and running courses for Russian teachers of English. The main focus of these has been to encourage teachers to upgrade their own language skills, as well as looking at cross-cultural differences.
